आज साई बाबा की 99वीं पुण्यतिथी है, आज से 99 वर्ष पूर्व आज ही के दिन उन्होंने महासमाधी ली थी। उनकी दी कुछ अमूल्य शिक्षाओं को याद करते हैं। 1. कभी किसी का हक़ मत मारना, जिसका जो भी हक़ है, वेतन या मजदूरी, पूरा भुगतान करना। 2. अपने गुरु या इष्ट देव पर पूरी श्रद्धा और निष्ठा रखें, यदि आपकी प्रार्थना स्वीकार नही हो पा रही है, तो इसका अर्थ ये नही है कि आपके गुरु या ईष्ठ देव मे कोई कमी है, अपितु आपकी ही श्रद्धा या आस्था मे कोई कमी है । 3. यदि ईश्वर 100 बार आप पर कृपा करते हैं, तो 99 बार तो आपको ये अहसास भी नही होने देते कि उन्होंने आप पर कोई कृपा की है। 4. सबका मालिक अथार्थ ईश्वर एक ही है, उसके नाम पर आपस मे द्रेष या लड़ाई ग़लत है। ५. ईश्वर और गुरु की कृपा से भविष्य भी बदल सकता है। 6. ये सँसार आपका मूल्यांकन आपके कार्यों के परिणाम के आधार पर करता है परन्तु ईश्वर आपके प्रयत्न और प्रयास के आधार पर। 7. भूत और भविष्य की चिंता छोड़ कर वर्तमान पर ध्यान दो। 8. दूसरों के दुःखों मे उनकी मदद करो बेशक आप खुद दुःखी हों, ऐसा करेंगे तो ईश्वर स्वम आपके दुःखों का निवारण करेंगे। 9. आप दुनिया से सब छुपा सकते हैं पर ईश्वर तो आपके कर्मों की ही नहीं बल्कि विचारों की भी खबर रखते हैं। 10. श्रद्धा (विश्वास) और सबुरी (धैर्य) के साथ बड़ी से बड़ी समस्या का सामना किया जा सकता है।

There are many professionals like me, who are writing on various topics of GST for months, and many times we criticize the performance of GSTN and GST Council. Even we understand, they are not alone responsible for all the mess, this is due to political involvement. But there are also some professionals, we do not get into what is going wrong or right. They just focus on Law and talk about legal aspects in simple language so that a common man can easily understand. One of such respectable professionals is our GST Star.

Almost 30-35 days back, one of my Ex-Colleagues called me, who wanted to learn GST, as she had to appear for some interviews. I asked her to refer Act & Rules and also advised to read one simple and interesting book, she told, it is tough to understand by reading such boring things, and had no much time due to office work. Then I suggested her to subscribe one YT Channel and Watch Tutorial Videos on GST that is from 10-15 minute each. Easiest way to learn GST. Last Week she called me to say thanks for YT recommendation, and to share she got job in some good company.

Happy Diwali from Govt to Taxpayers with this special GST Damaka !

Recommendations made by GST Council in its 22^nd meeting on 06^th October’2017.

1.  Composition Scheme shell be made available to taxpayers having annual aggregate turnover upto Rs. 1 Crore against current threshold limit of Rs. 75 Lacs. In special category states it shall be Rs. 75 Lacs except J&K and Uttrakhand, where limit shall be Rs. 1 Crore. The facility of availing composition shall be available upto 31.03.2018.

2.  And this is what I shall call – A Diwali Gift from Govt to Small Taxpayers (Specially IT Professionals, Consultants, Trainers and other small Service Providers) :

Presently anyone (other than job workers) making inter-state taxable supplies, is compulsorily required to register irrespective of turnover, now it is decided to exempt those service providers having annual turnover less than Rs. 20 Lacs (Rs. 10 Lacs for Special Category States except J&K) from obtaining registration, even if they are making inter-state taxable supplies of services.

3.  Business with turnover less than Rs. 1.5 Crore, will file return (GSTR-1, 2 & 3) and pay taxes on Quarterly Basis, wef third quarter of FY 2017-18, i.e. Oct’17 to Dec’17 Quarter.

4.       RCM under Section 9(4) of CGST Act and Section 5(4) of IGST Act shall be suspended till 31.03.2018.

5.       Taxpayers with turnover upto Rs. 1.5 Crore need not to pay GST on advance received, but on supply of Goods.

6.       Services from GTA to URD shall be exempted.

7.       TDS/TCS  E-Way Bill System suspended upto 31.03.2018.

8.       Date of filing GSTR-4 (Composition Dealers) and GSTR-6 by ISD for July-Sep’17, shall be extended to 15.11.2017.

Notification on extension of facility of LUT to all exporters issued

पेट्रोल पर Excise Duty कम हो गयी। Export पर Bond की जगह LUT ने ले ली।

धीरे-धीरे रे मना, धीरे सब कुछ होय, माली सींचे सौ घड़ा, ॠतु आए फल होय। :)

(i) all registered persons who intend to supply goods or services for

export without payment of integrated tax shall be eligible to furnish a

Letter of Undertaking in place of a bond except those who have been

prosecuted for any offence under the Central Goods and Services Tax

Act, 2017 (12 of 2017) or the Integrated Goods and Services Tax Act,

2017 (13 of 2017) or any of the existing laws in force in a case where the

amount of tax evaded exceeds two hundred and fifty lakh rupees;

(ii) the Letter of Undertaking shall be furnished on the letter head of the

registered person, in duplicate, for a financial year in the annexure to

FORM GST RFD – 11 referred to in sub-rule (1) of rule 96A of the

Central Goods and Services Tax Rules, 2017 and it shall be executed by

the working partner, the Managing Director or the Company Secretary or

the proprietor or by a person duly authorised by such working partner or

Board of Directors of such company or proprietor;

Happy Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti - GST Stars - 1

Happy Gandhi and Shastri Jayanti Friends. Today is the great day when two great leaders born, who ruled and won the heart of millions of people, not by any power but with their simplicity and true nature. Who led by example.

On this great day, I am starting my next series – GST Stars. For last one year like other professionals, I was also studying GST. As I mentioned many times, my method was simple, Study Act/s with Rules, followed by Circulars/Orders/Notifications/Clarifications/Press Release etc. But sometimes it sounds like so boring. Other than Law Professionals, Hardly I have seen someone reading Bare Acts with Interest. To make GST Simple, many professionals and institutes did great job by their remarkable contribution. I read many books, blogs, subscribed to YT Channels, Twitter Accounts and FB Groups. And this is time to recognize the contribution of these professionals. For some I also pay my respect, who always remain anonymous. Their work was published in the name of institute/organisation.

Unfortunately, since there is no political gain, Govt has shown no interest to appreciate efforts of these professionals, but we accountants must honor them, who are starts of our community.

So, First GST Star for me is ICSI for their Education Series on GST. In very simple language, they published contents on almost all chapters of GST. (86 by Today). These all are available at:
